Responding to the tragedy, pain and suffering inflicted upon the people of New York City, Washington, D.C., and the entire nation, the archdiocesan Department of Christian Service will serve as the conduit for those interested in aiding the victims of the terrorist attacks.

 Funds collected will be forwarded by the Archdiocese of Detroit to Catholic Charities USA, the national relief agency working on behalf of the Catholic bishops. The archdiocese has established the St. Raphael Fund to process and forward contributions in the name of the Church of Detroit to national relief agencies.
 Persons wishing to donate should make checks payable to: Archdiocese of Detroit - St. Raphael Fund. Mail checks to Department of Christian Service Archdiocese of Detroit, (G-5) 305 Michigan Ave., Detroit 48226.
