Arrow Block
Fabric Requirements:
color # A Orange
color # B purple
cut:
2 - 4 1/2" squares of both colors A and B
6 - 2 1/2" squares of both colors A and B
4 - 3" squares of color A
4 - 3" squares of color B
Assembly:
Half square triangles:
1. Using the 3" square of both colors A and B. Put these
squares fronts together. Draw a pencil line on the
diagonal.
2. Stitch with a 1/4" seam on each side of the pencil line.
3. Cut these pieces apart on the penciled diagonal line.
4. Press open with the lighter fabric toward the darker fabric.
5. Square up each of these new squares to 2 1/2" squares
(I intentionally size a bit larger just incase some
of the stitching is out of line.
It allows for easier corrections when squaring up these half square triangles)
Assembling your block:
1. Line up all your pieces as shown below:

2. sew together as 4 sections as shown below:

3. Align these 4 sections as shown below:
