
Tracing:
Trace with Black Ink on humming bird flowers
and leaves. Use white ink along the outer boarder edge, circles
oblong areas, and small lines of the boarder.
Embossing:
Use small embossing tool throughout to
emboss all traced areas
Use medium or Large embossing tool to emboss
areas left plain between perforated areas.
Use medium/ large. or hockey tool to emboss outwardly
the centers of each full flower
Painting:
Humming bird: Use brown paint to paint the beak and
eye. Use a mustard or euche color for the under face
Use a mix of silver ink and pearl
blue for breast and outer wing areas. use dark blue pearl paint for
the upper
body and inner wings
Leaves: Mix silver ink with light pearl green.
Apply this paint mixture to one side of each leaf. Use green pearl
paint on the other side of leaves
and stems.
Flowers: Paint the staimems and pollen of each
flower in orange. The inner part, brushing outwardly in pearl
yellow. continue to paint outwardly
each petal with a pearl light purple or violet. Use the same litght
purple or
violet on the two buds.
Dorsing:
Use red and purple blending outwardly
Perforations:
Follow perforation grid use a 4 prong tool along
the boarder pattern . Cut away the 8 pronged areas in the grid.
These can be used to run a small
ribbon through if desired or left open.
Perfroate with 2 prong tool around the outer edge of
the boarder. Tear away excess paper for a lace finish to the
boarder.
