Dark Purple: 1 - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square
2 - 5" x 5" squares
1 - 2 1/2" x 20" strip
Light Purple: 2 - 5" x 5" squares
1 - 2 1/2" x 20" strip
Cutting and Stitching components:
1. Using the 5" squares of both colors placed front to front,
draw pencil line across the diagonal and stitch to each
side of the pencil line. Cut apart on the
diagonal pencil line. Press and square up these half square triangles
to
4 1/2" squares. See diagrams
below:

Assembly:
1. align each section as shown below. Sew together by
doing both vertical seams then the horizontal seams.
Press and square up.
