'Twas the Night Before Christmas ...
Mystery Quilt
'Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the house ...  Quilts were abundant but still not enough ...
So lets get out our fabrics and clip and snip, this lovely wall hanging that will bring joy to this season of cheer.

With the Holiday season quickly approaching I thought I would again give you another fun Mystery Quilt that will make a special addition to your home holiday decoration or make the perfect holiday gift for some one special.
This project will combine a number of paper pieced parts as well as some dimensional additions that will make this quilting project outstanding.  Because of the nature of this project only basic fabric requirements will be provided.  You can make use of many of those extra scraps of fabric you have in your stash on the many different paper pieced placements within the quilt.  It is important to note  that some color requirements will be made in the paper pieced parts and when this is the case you will find those color specifications noted on the patterns provided.
Currently my own rendition of this wall hanging is hanging in front of me on my design wall.  The finished wall hanging should measure 32" x 25" when completed.  Be prepared for a 'lot' of small pieces!!!
This 'should' be a six installment (though possibly 7) Mystery Quilt. So lets begin!

Basic Fabric Requirements:
(use up your Holiday fabrics with this one)
2 yards light (for background)
1 yard Christmas Green (for mid ground)
untold number of smaller scraps of your favorite Christmas fabrics or other bright colors.
*  note:  when these two fabrics are required in the paper pieced parts of the quilt they will be indicated on the foundation block with the letters "Lt." for light background and "CG" for the Christmas Green

3.  Cut a 6 1/2" x 1 1 /2" strip of the light background fabric and sew it to the top of the foundation block.
