Sewing Instructions:
Again I want to start with telling you I know I am not to good at this part yet... I hopefully am improving so that soon I can go back to some of my earlier blocks and make significant changes.
Beginning with making the outer corners of this block it should come together quite easily
#5
sew from center outwardly
Begin by sewing from the center point (as shown in the diagram)
of the triangle, sew outwardly from that point. First join the longer
sides of the triangle then set in the seam to make the corner point.
Make four of these units.
#6
sew these pieces together from the center outwardly.
Be sure you match the points at the outside edges
* Also be sure that you are using the pieces alternating
them one in reverse of the other. Make four units.
Sew all four of these units together to make a 4 patch.
this 4 patch will be on point when the outer triangles
sewn on.
Now sew #5 units to the #6 units to form the block
(see finished block at the top of the page)
Block should measure 12 12/"
** just a reminder*** squaring up your pieces as you contruct
any quilt blocks will make the
your blocks come together much easier
and give the finished blocks a nice finished look!
