Parchment Pattern
for
January 2000

Cuddle Alert!!!!
It's January here in Michigan and the weather report for tonight it -6F.  The high today was only +15F so it is COLD!!!
So as I was sitting here today and thinking about just what kind of pattern I wanted to do for January 2000 I couldn't help but think of warm fuzzy things...  Teddy bears and warm furry things and a heart to warm the soul.  And of course I wanted the pattern to project the 'icy cold' of January.  This is what I came up with I hope this will help you to feel warmer during this cold season.
Have you hugged your loved ones today?

Tracing:

Use white ink on all boarder areas, the hearts and the heart vines.   Use black ink on all line on the bears.  Use a blue or other color of your choice to do the calligraphy of the words.

Embossing:
Emboss all solid lines in both the boarder and the artwork with medium or small embossing tool.  Use hockey tool to emboss and fill in the bears and the hearts.

Dorsing:
Use a turquoise or blue to surround the bears.

Painting:
For the bears  blend a drop of dark brown to a drop of yellow pearl paints for a lighter brown and lightly brush filling in the bears.  Use a darker brown to add highlights and depth to the arms, legs face and body of the bear.  Use a soft pink, or blend a soft pink pearl paint to paint the hearts.

Perforations:

Follow the grid and use 4-prong tool in boarder design.  Cut away to  create x's.
