Parchment Craft Pattern for
January 1998
When I was trying to decide what to do for January, of course my mind could not help but to think of the cold days and nights during January.   A time for those cozy nights and warm conversations and 'cuddle alerts'.  Here is what I came up with.  Warm and cozy home.
Why don't you join me for a cup of hot tea?

Tracing:

Use black ink to go around the outside line of the tea pot house.
Use Sepia or a brown ink to trace the door, wood grain and roof tiles.
Use green ink for the shrubs  an hanging plants under windows
Use red ink for the heart on the door

Embossing:

Use medium bowl embossing tool to go around outer edge of the tea pot house and windows.
Use the fine embossing tool to go around door, shrubs, hanging plants, door, and roofing tiles.

 Painting:

Paint the roof amd shurbry with green Pinta Perla. Use lightly so that the ink and embossing will show through nicely.  Paint on the outer side of the composition.

Use Pinta Perla yellow for the windows.  Again paint on front of composition

Use White Pinta Perla for the tea Pot house.. . on my own composition I added a small drop of green to go on the base of the house and on the spout end and side to add deminsion.

Dorsing:

red and blue dorsing sets this off real nicely to give the effect of the winter skies.

Perforations:

Follow perforation grid for pattern . cut away were indicated on the pattern.

Finishing touches:

Run a thin ribbon through the weave of the preforated edges... the effect is stunning.
