Well, it took me to long to provide you with another
parchment crafting pattern. February came and went all to fast and
time just didn't allow for me to design a pattern for February. I
told myself another month would not go by without another!
So here is the pattern I have developed for March of 2000. I hope
you enjoy this simple and fun design.

Tracing:
1. Trace all stems, leaves, petals circles
in boarder and outer line of boarder in white ink.
Embossing:
1. Use Large bowl embossing tool to emboss
the circles in the boarder.
2. Use medium bowl embossing tool for
petals, leaves, and stems.
3. Use small bowel embossing tool around
the outside edge of the boarder.
4. Use hockey tool to highlight
the petals on each of the flowers. Make strokes from the
center of the
petals outwardly.
Painting:
*** Do all painting
on the back side of the design.**
1. Paint each leaf using a deep green
acrylic paint or marker
2. On approximately half of the petals
and buds paint with a purple and the other half with a
blue. (these
colors of course are dependent on your preference.)
Dorsing:
1. blend in a circular motion dorsing
colors that compliment the petals of the flower. In the
example shown,
Us red and purple.
Perforation:
1. Use 4-prong perforation tool following
the grid of the pattern.
2. Cut away perforation to make x's all
the way around boarders.
3. Use single point perforation tool
and make a single perforation in the center area of each of
the four star
blocks around the boarder.
4. Use 2-prong or a 4-prong straight
tool to walk around the outside of the boarder to cut free
the finished
design.
I am already working on a pattern for April and for
Easter. I hope to have it ready by the fisrt of April for your parchment
crafting pleasure.
