1. Using the 48 - 8" x 8" squares, place them front to front. Make every attempt to pair them lighter to darker.
2. Following the diagrams below, make
pencil marks 4" vertical and 4" horizontally. Then make a pencil
line as
shown on the diagonal
of these marked of 4" x 4" sections.
3. Sew each pair together along the diagonal lines. Seam allowance each side of the pencil marks is 1/4"

**** Important note: for the best results when making your half square triangles accurate. ALWAYS PRESS EACH SQUARE and then SQUARE THEM UP! Not doing so will greatly compromise the outcome of your finished quilt... Though this part is very time consuming and tedious for many it is the MOST important step to making the perfect quilt.
5. From each set of 8 - 3 /12" half square triangle make 2 Pinwheel blocks as shown below:
7. Using the 12 - 4" squares make half square triangles as shown bellow:
