Parchment Craft Pattern
for
October, 1998

 

Tracing:

1. Trace all areas of the scarecrow, bird and scarf  using black ink.
2.  Trace the sun flowers with brown ink.
3.  Trace the plaid stripes of the shirt with red ink.
Embossing:
1.  Use the small embossing tool to emboss all areas of the scarecrow, scarf, bird an boarders.
 

Painting:
1.  Paint bird, sunflowers and ends of the scarf using yellow paint...(all painting is done from the back of the
     composition.

2. Paint the watermelon rine with green paint.

3.  Use red paint for the fruit of the watermelon

4.  Use orange paint for the face of the scarecrow.

Dorsing:
1.  Use the orange dorsing crayon to cover all areas of the back of the composition.

Perforations:
1.  Using the 4 prong tool follow grid around the boarders.
2. cut away the perforations between the solid (black) areas in the boarder.
  *(please note that I did not include this boarder in the picture of the composition above)

3.  Run your favorite halloween ribbon through the perforated areas in the boarder.
