Many have been asking for a very long time to see a picture of me. Well I finally broke down and had Jerry take my picture the other day. It is by far not the best picture! I just had oral surgery and my face is more than a bit swollen. But since I was going to rework this page this picture will have to do for now!

Even though the picture is not r eal clear
of this wall hanging, the mini blocks are embelished with hand painted
and rubber stamped images as the focal point in the center of each block.
This small quilt is on the wall of my studil.

This is a King Sized Pinwheel pattern
It too is machine quilted. The fabrics contrast from the different
pinks to darker florals.
These 3 quilts are new additions to this page.

II made two identical quilts for a friend. I had a lot of fun working in all the different shades of blues and whites. And I just love to make samplers! So these two quilts were just what I needed at the time to be quilting!

This
is the quilt that shouldn't have worked out but somehow did! This
"Tea Leaves" pattern can be found in Judy Rothermel's "Aunt Grace's Scrapbag
Fifth Anniversary" I have also seen this antique quilt pattern displayed
in one of the local quilt shopes... That was my inspiration, and of course,
I am absoutely no good <yet> at curves... I use all Aunt Grace
Fabrics on this quilt and I believe that was the redemption of this quilt...
Not bad for all that I did to destroy it !!!

This quilt
is what I call my "Junk" quilt. I used only left over pieces, example
blocks and all the this and that's that I had sitting
in my UFO box... the center motif is made of 30 "spools of thread"
blocks and then surrounded by every things from "jacob's ladder" to "Annie's
Star" and many other blocks and themes.. The quilt finished as a King sized
quilt that I gave to a dear friend that allows me to use his ISP for my
web site... He just love's it and so I know it went to a real
good home!

This Maple Leaf quilt was made from blocks I received on the internet in a swap. It do something a bit different I turned the stems of the leaves inward to make a larger quilt block... I quilted each block seperately then attached them to the whold to make this quilt... Quilting each of these larger squares individually before sewing them all together made a wonderful difference in how I was able to work with the quilt while machine quilting... I then finished the quilt off with a sawtooth edging.
This King Size Sampler in Mauve, Grays
swap blocks that I receieved in a
quilt block exchange. A single
pink fabric throughout is central theme of The"Color Me Quilted" block
exchange. Each block is made by the different participants. I received
36 blocks for this quilt. What a great way to share the love of quilting
with friends!

This quilt is a King Sized
quilt that I made for my niece as a Wedding Gift... It still is one of
her favorite wedding gifts! This double nine-patch pattern is an
easy one to make even for the beginner... This and the Double Irish
Chain are favorites of mine.

Ok, here is the second attempt
at making a Double Wedding Ring Quilt. I was so disturbed by the
many errors that just seemed way beyond my ability to correct. But
I continued until I had it finished no matter how bad it looked to me...
A dear friend saw it and thought it to be just lovely and she fell in love
with it. So this lovely <not well constructed> Double Wedding
Ring Quilt has a great home with a dear friend in Texas!
I am now working on another Double
Wedding Ring Quilt. I hope to have the top done in the next several
days... When it is completed I assure you I will put up the picture
of a much nicer looking quilt. This one is coming out sooooo much
better.
