Mystery Solved!!!

It is now time to go onto Installment #9!  After a busy Father's Day for so many stitching is a cure for many of us who need something to help us recover! -:).  So are we ready? Lets get started.

If you have not completed  installment #1 installment #2 installment #3,installment #4, installment #5  , Installment #6 , Installment # 7  and Installment # 8 please do so at this time before going on to this installment.
Now it is time to go on to installment # 8.

Step # 1.  Assembly of your blocks:

1.  At this time  press ,trim  and square up your blocks to measure 16 1/2" x 12 1/2".  One of the nice things I
discovered about this block (which is why I did not provide measurements earlier) is that this block is very
forgiving.   If you find that your completed blocks do not measure out to the 16 1/2" x 12 1/2" measurement
that I posted above you have the opportunity now to square up you blocks to an appropriate size.  Just be sure
that if you are opting for a larger or smaller block that all the blocks are the same size (unfinished).

2.  Your completed blocks should look as the blocks shown below:

Twin Size Only!

 3.  For the twin size quilt lay out your 36 blocks in rows of 6 x6.   Sew all your blocks together.

Mystery Twist!!!
Full Size Quilt Only
1.  With the extra pieces you were asked to set aside in earlier steps make one more block to give your 48 blocks! You
have been asked with all the earlier instructions to complete 47 blocks for this quilt.  You may have guessed all
along that 47 blocks was an odd number of blocks for this  quilt.  As suggested in earlier steps it was important
    to save these extra pieces.

2.  For the Full Size quilt lay out your blocks in rows of 6 x 8.

3.  Sew all your blocks together.

Full Size Mystery Solved!
Step #2.

  1.  Here is what your finished  twin size quilt should look like!

2.  Here is what your full size quilt should look like!

I hope you have enjoyed doing this "Summer' Fancy"  Mystery Quilt as much as I have!
I still have much to learn as I go along with doing these fun quilting project.  It will be a couple of months before I will be able to begin another one.  As always I am interested in your comment that will help me to better instruct (or construct) future mystery quilts.  I want to apologize again for the delays that were evident in getting some installments up in a timely manner.
I will keep you all aware when I will begin the next mystery.  It will be delayed for a while while I am recuperating from some heath concerns that I will be taking care of over the next several months.  I ask that you pray for my speedy recovery from my upcoming surgery.  I will be back with you as soon as possible.
