Think Spring Mystery Quilt
The Mystery Solved!!!
installment # 8.
   What a Day!!!  The weekend was busy and now it is already Monday Morning and the mystery is to be solved today!  The excitement will begin in just moments.
This weeks installment will again be a simple one. (Not that any of the installments will be difficult).  If you have not completed   step #1 ,  step #2 ,   step #3 ,   step #4 ,   step 5 ,  step #6  step #7  you  will need to do so before progressing on to this step.

Mystery Solved:  Final assembly of your wall hanging.

Step #1.

1.  Gather up all units completed in previous steps.

2. Set each section up as shown in the diagram below:

3. Make horizontal and vertical rows sewing the sections together in both directions.

 Finished!!!!!


 

  Step # 2.  Finishing touches:

1.  Cut a thin batting to match the size of the quilt top

2.  Cut your favorite backing fabric... <something spring -ie or with little hearts would work really nicely>.

3.  Use your favorite quilting motif or stitch 1/4" to each side of the various seams.

4.  Hand quilt or machine quilting will be great.!

Note:   I know that many times the instuctions were confusing and the cuts were sometimes wrong.  I am hoping with the next mystery I do you will not encounter these difficulties.  This was my first attempt at designing a Mystery Quilt.  I am glad that you have had fun with this wall hanging!!!!
