World Without End

This title may have baeen taken from a phrase used in prayer years ago.  When combining several blocks together, depending upon one's choice of colors and patterns, different optical viewpoints are created.
With only three pattern pieces, this pattern is one of the easier to work on.

Cutting Instructions:

Color A = light
Color B = medium
Color C = dark

   #1          Cut 1  Color B

        #2                      Cut 4   Color A

      #3         Cut 4  Color C

Sewing Instructions:

Again I have shown the pieces for this pattern as templates.  The white areas are cut away from the actual pieces.  The two triangles pieces form the outside of the block. While the interior square is set on point.  I have found that  by sewing triangle #3 to the center square #1 then setting in triangle #2 works best.  Of course you may find  an easier way to assemble this block.  Please refer to the diagram of the block at the top of the page to see how the completed block should look.

The completed block will be a 12 1/2" block (if my measurements are correct).

This is the third in a series of Scriptural block patterns
